This is the half-way point of the season and we\u2019re in full flow with our regular activities and enjoying the contact with like-minded scribblers. Our personal writing is bound to benefit from the impetus provided by regular exposure to the writerly pleasures we share with fellow members.<\/p>\n<p>With that in mind we\u2019re ready for another Alphaday which I hope will satisfy your expectations. I\u2019m sure there\u2019s plenty there to give you ideas and spur you into action.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>General news.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve never had so many molehills in my garden as there are at the moment. My lawn is puffed up and splat open and totally ruined. When I peer across the fence into the field behind I realise that my little molehill problem is peanuts compared with what\u2019s going on there. Yet neither the owner nor the two resident horses seem particularly perturbed by the situation.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s my metaphor for the day.
